The green frog (Rhacophorus reinwardtii) is a type of frog that we often encounter around tropical forests in Indonesia. This frog has a green color with a body length of around 5-8 cm. Green frogs usually live in trees and are often seen jumping from one branch to another.

According to local beliefs, the green frog is considered a frog that brings good luck. Therefore, green frogs are allowed to enter the mosque. In fact, some believe that the presence of green frogs in the mosque can bring blessings to the congregation who are praying.

2. Cricket Frog

The cricket frog (Megophrys nasuta) is a type of frog that lives in tropical areas such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Cricket frogs have a body shape similar to crickets, with rough skin and a color that tends to be dark.

In some areas, cricket frogs are considered to be animals that bring disaster. However, there are also those who believe that cricket frogs bring protection and good luck. Therefore, there are several mosques that allow cricket frogs to enter, especially if the frogs do not interfere with worship activities.

3. Frog Frog

The frog (Bufo bufo) is a type of frog that we often encounter in various regions of the world, including Indonesia. Frogs have moist skin with varying colors, ranging from green, brown, to black. Toads usually live around water and damp areas.

4. Little Frog

The small toad (Microhyla achatina) is a type of toad that has a small body size, around 1-3 cm. Small toads usually live in moist soil and are often seen around ornamental plants. Small frogs have quite loud voices and are often a sign of their presence around human habitations.

Some scholars are of the opinion that small frogs should not be allowed into mosques, especially if the frogs interfere with worship activities. However, there are also those who believe that small frogs can enter mosques as long as they do not disturb the cleanliness and comfort of worshipers who are praying.

5. Crocodile Frog

The crocodile frog (Lepidobatrachus laevis) is a type of frog that has a body shape that resembles a small crocodile. Crocodile frogs usually live in tropical areas such as South America and some parts of Africa. Crocodile frogs have rough and thick skin, with a color that tends to be dark.
